Outside the Wire

Conquer your next challenge with CBT Nuggets.

Leaving the military at the end of service is the final, and perhaps the biggest journey "outside the wire" that service members will ever take. CBT Nuggets is excited to announce our "Outside the Wire" challenge, which is designed to help recently discharged servicemembers gain the skills and knowledge necessary to train for an in-demand career as an IT professional. Program participants will receive a six-month subscription to CBT Nuggets where they will receive personalized accountability coaching services, as well as access to an exclusive online study group tailored to the needs and interests of retired military tech professionals.


Program Requirements

U.S. military personnel who are currently in the process of separating from active service are invited to apply for CBT Nuggets "Outside the Wire" Program.

All eligible applicants whose essays demonstrate a dedication to self-improvement and the desire to pursue a career in IT will be accepted into the program.

Entry Form

Applicants must submit a 500-700 word essay that describes why they’re passionate about IT, their IT career goals, which certifications they’ve already earned, and which they plan to earn.
